Staff Release Engineer/DevOps - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a staff Release Engineer/DevOps to manage operational tasks and improve automation strategies for our business unit at Simplify360, a Nextiva company.

In Short

• Take ownership of operational tasks for a business unit.
• Triage, troubleshoot, and fix production problems.
• Document manual work and automate processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation for production systems.
• Mentor engineers and support their career growth.
• Provide architectural guidance across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with MongoDB, BigQuery, Kubernetes, Kafka.
• 7+ years in Systems Engineering/DevOps/SRE.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in microservices environments and distributed systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills on complex systems.
• Able to communicate technical concepts clearly.
