Overview

Significance is looking for an Air Force FIAR Junior Analyst to join our growing team. This position is remote and requires an interim or active Secret Clearance.

In Short

• Provide subject matter expertise on DoD Construction in Progress (CIP) processes.
• Offer audit compliance guidance and achieve CIP project milestones.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document processes and define key control points.
• Conduct change management activities related to construction project oversight.
• Advise on federal accounting practices ensuring compliance with DoD regulations.
• Provide detailed guidance on project categories and support cost classification.
• Experience in data analytics and developing tailored metrics for reviews.
• Track and link funding to project execution and execution agent.
• Knowledge of federal financial accounting standards and regulations.
• Experience with NexGen IT and Microsoft Suite.

Requirements

• 1-3 years with DoD CIP process understanding.
• Proficiency in federal accounting practices.
• Experience with various construction and repair project categories.
• Familiarity with federal appropriations and funding types.
• Knowledge of SFFAS 6 and DoD Financial Management Regulation.
• Experience with NexGen IT.
• Understanding of SharePoint, Teams, and Excel/Microsoft Suite.
