Junior Test Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Junior Test Engineer to run tests on complex software solutions, following our existing testing process.

In Short

• Execute test cases and document test results for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand and clarify the requirements and system functionality.
• Create and maintain test cases, scenarios, and checklists for system functionality.
• Provide regular and accurate updates on testing progress status, including completed test cases, bugs found, and any blockers encountered.
• Assist in the preparation of test summary reports and provide clear, concise documentation of test results.
• Actively participate in team meetings, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospective sessions, etc.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies, suggesting ideas for efficiency.

Requirements

• Understanding of different types of testing (functional, performance, etc.) and their application.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems and test management tools like Jira or similar.
• Good knowledge of test design techniques and the ability to create comprehensive test documentation (test cases, checklists, etc.).
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the field of software testing.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional team.
• At least an Intermediate level of English.
