In Short

• Lead engineering for one or more initiatives at Sierra.
• Architect the stack and write clean code.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
• Build MVPs for startup founders.
• Develop internal AI tools to enhance workflows.
• Help grow the team and interview candidates.
• Mentor other engineers.
• Contribute to creating the company culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 1 year in a lead role.
• Growth mindset and ability to learn quickly.
• Experience with end-to-end product development.
• Frontend experience with TypeScript and React.
• Backend experience with TypeScript or Python, Node.js or FastAPI.
• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to estimate timelines and scope accurately.
• Bonus: Experience using AI tools for coding.
• Bonus: Experience building products using Generative AI.
