Data Analyst, Revenue - Remote

Overview

The Data Analyst, Revenue will help Sierra Club’s revenue teams understand donation patterns, donors, and prospective donors in new ways to increase revenue. They will have ownership over building engaging self-service reports and dashboards that “wow” these teams by showing data and insights from their analysis in meaningful and actionable ways.

In Short

• Develop, maintain, and distribute regular revenue reports, dashboards, and forecasts for major giving.
• Analyze major giving revenue streams and donor segments.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested by leadership.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of donors to identify prospective mid-level and major donors.
• Assist with data imports, exports, and data hygiene within Salesforce.
• Identify data discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
• Document current data processes and workflows.
• Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and improvements.
• Collaborate with the Advancement team on data governance policies.
• Commit to continuously deepening understanding of systems of oppression.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a relevant data and analytics role.
• 2+ years of experience using common fundraising CRMs.
• Experience creating reports and dashboards in Tableau or similar tools.
• Proficiency using SQL for custom data sets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working independently and in teams.
