Senior Producer - Remote

Overview

The Sr. Producer at Side (formally known as Ghostpunch Games) has overall responsibility for a project’s organization, planning, schedule quality, and budget from concept to release and acts as the project manager.

In Short

• Develop project schedules considering product features, timeline, and resources.
• Identify and track project milestones.
• Assign personnel resources and direct daily work of team members.
• Facilitate communication among team members and departments.
• Manage project budgets and resolve conflicts between features, resources, and timeline.
• Utilize project management techniques for timely delivery and high quality.
• Mentor Assistant and Associate Producers.
• Handle personnel issues and apply conflict resolution techniques.
• Participate in post-mortem reviews to improve processes.
• Communicate with licensors and coordinate with legal department.

Requirements

• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership abilities and strong problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of gaming industry practices and standards.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Google Suite, and Project Management Software.
• Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of production/project management experience.
• Experience in internal production/project management on at least 4 published game products.
• Project management training from a recognized program is preferred.
• Experience as a game programmer, artist, or designer is preferred.
