Senior Civil Engineer / Planner for Battery Storage Projects - Remote

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the approval process for our battery parks nationwide (preliminary building permit, building permit).
• You will independently advance the approval of projects and coordinate the preparation of all necessary documents and reports.
• You will build a relationship with the building authorities and successfully obtain the approvals.
• You will collaborate with our planning and engineering offices and coordinate fire protection, noise protection, EMC, access, soil assessments, foundations, etc.
• You will coordinate further construction planning up to the execution planning.
• You are also willing to take on project management for individual projects.

Requirements

• Completed university degree in civil engineering, architecture, or comparable.
• At least 5 - 10 years of professional experience in a planning or architectural office.
• Solid knowledge of German construction and planning law.
• Extensive experience in applying for and supporting building permits - experience with battery storage, PV, or wind is an advantage.
• Independent, structured working style with a proactive mentality.
• Hands-on - you also draw a plan yourself and pick up the phone when it moves the project forward.
• Chamber approval (e.g., architects' chamber, engineering chamber) is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Native German speaker.

• 💸 Compensation: good fixed salary + significant performance-based compensation.
• We also welcome applications from self-employed individuals if you are available for at least 30 hours a week and can transition to 100% within 6 months.
