Overview

Shardeum is building a layer 1, EVM-based, linearly scalable, smart contract platform that provides low gas fees forever while maintaining true decentralization and solid security through dynamic state sharding.

In Short

• Deliver the Shardeum Mainnet and develop the smart contract platform.
• Focus on building scalable, performant, secure and reliable software.
• Provide technical structure to teams and define strategic road maps.
• Manage EVM based projects, priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
• Mentor and train team members on design techniques and coding standards.
• Contribute to the architecture and implementation of complex software components.
• Take ownership of critical software components related to the smart contracts platform.
• Design and develop innovative new consensus and protocol software.
• Ensure performance optimization and scalability improvements.
• Resolve issues and improve the reliability and security of software components.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with EVM based Smart Contract platforms.
• Knowledge of high quality code and fostering a quality environment.
• Fluency with algorithms and data structures.
• Ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies.
• Ability to write clean and efficient code.
• Creativity to develop proof of concepts from high level designs.
• Self-motivated with the ability to set priorities.
• Effective communication skills for discussing technical topics.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
