DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) - MongoDB and Kubernetes - Remote

Overview

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the architecture and development of on-demand Kubernetes environments, automation processes, and software development using Go and Python, while providing support and training for users.

In Short

• Design and implement on-demand Kubernetes environments using Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop and optimize automation processes for infrastructure deployment.
• Implement features in Go/Golang and Python, including creating Ansible Playbooks.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies into existing systems.
• Provide training and support for users of Kubernetes services.
• Participate in agile workshops and planning meetings with the DevOps team.

Requirements

• Expertise in MongoDB, including architecture, setup, and management.
• Experience with Kubernetes, including Helm, StatefulSets, and security configurations.
• Proficient in CI/CD and automation tools like GitLab and Ansible.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Operators for database management.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Fluent in German (C1 level or higher).
• Must have resided in Germany for at least 5 years (German citizenship or EU citizen).
