TEXTILE/CRS INSPECTOR IN ETHIOPIA - Remote

Overview

The Textile/CRS Inspector will execute inspections in the textile division, ensuring compliance with inspection rules and client requirements while overseeing junior inspectors.

In Short

• Execute inspections upon request by the GIS Manager.
• Schedule and oversee inspection activities of junior inspectors.
• Coordinate daily movement for efficiency and cost control.
• Comply with inspection rules and quality system procedures.
• Conduct inspections as per client’s instructions.
• Prepare and draft inspection reports for approval.
• Meet client’s requirements with professionalism and integrity.
• Brief and ensure competence of subordinate inspectors.

Requirements

• BSc in Garment/Textile Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of inspection and statistical sampling plans.
• Experience in garment inspection in Ethiopia is advantageous.
• Decisive, assertive, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to apply good judgment according to SGS standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
