Quality Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Quality Engineer will manage and maintain the quality system related to records, authorizations, accreditations, and certifications of the project, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.

In Short

• Manage and maintain the quality system for the project.
• Ensure compliance with SGS standards in Chile.
• Implement and improve the quality management system according to NCh-ISO 17025 and ISO 9001.
• Handle requests for accreditations and renewals.
• Control documentation and ensure its validity.
• Monitor QA/QC processes continuously.
• Participate in technical meetings and audits.
• Lead audit processes and respond to authority requirements.
• Provide training and support to staff.
• Ensure quality standards and environmental protection compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
• Certification in non-destructive testing (penetrant, magnetic particles, and/or ultrasound).
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Basic English proficiency.
• Knowledge of Concentrator Plants (Flotation).
• Class B driving license.
