Project Manager I - Remote

Overview

The Project Manager I at SGS will serve as a client advocate and laboratory liaison, responsible for managing client projects from initiation to completion while fostering strong relationships.

In Short

• Serve as main point of contact for clients.
• Manage project setup and execution.
• Foster collaborative relationships with clients and laboratory staff.
• Monitor project status and communicate updates effectively.
• Document client requests and ensure accuracy in invoicing.
• Participate in client meetings and represent SGS positively.
• Train and delegate tasks to Project Manager Assistants.
• Understand client project complexities and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support SGS's mission.

Requirements

• Associates' degree or equivalent experience in sciences or customer service.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience required.
• Advanced communication and mathematical skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to lift/carry/push up to 25 lbs occasionally.
