AI Narrative Designer - Remote

Overview

Series Entertainment is seeking a talented Narrative Designer who will help concept, generate, write, script & implement story content for our upcoming story releases. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the interactive narrative space & AI prompting, strong communication skills, and a passion for creating high-quality stories, mobile games, and interactive experiences.

In Short

• Identify opportunities with creative & writing & AI tools to enhance workflows.
• Work with story teams to author outlines & scripts.
• Review and provide feedback on scripts, character designs, and storyboards.
• Ensure story consistency and quality in all released content.
• Implement scenes in the proprietary creation suite.
• Educate writers on how to best use creation tools.
• Design & oversee game systems in a narrative-minded paradigm.
• Collaborate with writers and technical teams to translate narrative visions.
• Train creators and writers on new tooling & workflows.
• Leverage prompt engineering for dynamic storytelling experiences.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in writing for Interactive Fiction.
• Proven experience in a narrative designer or prompt engineer role.
• Proficient in interactive story development tools like Ink, Twine, and Python/Ren'Py.
• Experience with AI tools for story creation.
• Strong collaboration skills & self-management abilities.
• Interest in scripting languages for narrative-driven experiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields is a plus.
• Ability to communicate between technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience or interest in visual storytelling is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in prompt engineering is a plus.
