Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit - Remote

Overview

Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a Full Time RN (Registered Nurse) to join our ICU (Intensive Care) Team in Suffolk, Virginia. The RN is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care using the nursing process and maintaining high standards of practice.

In Short

• Full Time position in ICU with 36 hours per week.
• Day Shift from 7am to 7pm.
• Up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus for successfully hired candidates.
• Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, and implementation of nursing care.
• Must possess a Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within one year of hire.
• Prefer candidates with experience in acute care; new grads may be considered.
• Located in a 175-bed state-of-the-art facility.
• Part of a recognized accredited Primary Stroke Center and Magnet hospital.

Requirements

• RN-Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Master’s Degree.
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within one year of hire.
• Experience in acute care preferred; new grads may be considered.
