Overview

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital's Postpartum Mother-Baby Unit is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse who has compassion and patience for providing special care to our new Moms and Infants.

In Short

• Full-time position in the Postpartum Mother-Baby Unit.
• Rotating shifts, 36 hours a week.
• Focus on care for new mothers and infants.
• Assess and ensure proper healing for new Moms.
• Educate new Moms on infant care.
• 1-year RN experience preferred, new grads welcome.
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Requirements

• 1-year RN experience preferred.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN License in good standing is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• RN-Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Diploma required.
