Overview

The Operations Specialist for Propulsion Systems will be responsible for managing part numbers, processing documentation, and coordinating parts shipping for vehicle families within a global engineering group.

• Upload part numbers into corporate data systems.
• Process documentation for changes to components.
• Manage work orders for laboratories/workshops.
• Request and submit purchase orders for prototype parts.
• Create documentation for functional testing in assembly plants.
• Coordinate parts shipping between suppliers and assembly plants.
• Release approvals for part validation.
• Gather documentation for functional and durability failures.
• Lead part development approvals with suppliers.
• Attend training to acquire necessary skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Management.
• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or project management.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge in Product Lifecycle Management and Project Management.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with software suites like Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
