Overview

The HVAC Release Engineer is responsible for the development and validation of the automotive HVAC unit and airflow loop components, ensuring they meet performance objectives.

In Short

• Develop and validate automotive HVAC unit and airflow loop components.
• Coordinate development with various functional areas and suppliers.
• Write source packages, specifications, and requirements.
• Maintain component and sub-system DVP&R.
• Perform data analysis and establish corrective actions.
• Lead virtual team for CFD analysis of ducts.
• Support pilot build process at assembly plant.
• 1-5 years of experience in HVAC and duct design/development.
• Experience with CAD software (NX, Catia, etc.) is a plus.
• Remote work opportunity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1-5 years of experience in HVAC and duct design/development.
• Strong PC + MS Office skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with DFMEA and DVP&R.
• Basic thermodynamics knowledge.
