Design and Release Engineer (HVAC Automotive) - Remote

Overview

The HVAC Release Engineer is responsible for the development and validation of the automotive HVAC unit and airflow loop components, ensuring they meet performance objectives and coordinating development with various functional areas.

In Short

• Responsible for HVAC unit and airflow loop components development.
• Coordinate with IP, hard trim, BIW, Aero/Thermal, Engine Cooling, PDO, and suppliers.
• Write source packages, specifications, requirements, and change notices.
• Maintain component and sub-system DVP&R.
• Perform data analysis and establish corrective actions.
• Lead virtual team for CFD analysis of ducts.
• Support pilot build process at the assembly plant.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 1-5 years of HVAC and duct design experience preferred.
• Remote work available.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1-5 years of experience in HVAC and duct design/development.
• Strong PC + MS Office skills.
• Experience with DFMEA and DVP&R.
• Basic thermodynamics knowledge.
• Automotive assembly plant experience is mandatory.
