Overview

As an Environmental Loss Adjuster at Sedgwick, you will play a critical role in investigating and managing environmental claims while supporting policyholders and stakeholders throughout the claims process.

In Short

  • Conduct investigations into oil escapes and pollution losses.
  • Negotiate and settle claims according to established targets.
  • Manage a caseload of environmental claims.
  • Provide support to policyholders and stakeholders.
  • Quantify and validate complex claims.
  • Interpret client policies and legal liabilities.
  • Work with environmental consultants.
  • Full training provided for those without environmental experience.
  • Flexible working arrangements including remote work.

Requirements

  • Experience in handling liability and/or property claims.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Ability to interpret information and data accurately.
