IT System Engineer for Emergency & Network Technology - Remote

Overview

The IT System Engineer is responsible for the smooth operation and administration of the IT systems of Securitas Austria's emergency center.

In Short

• Responsible for the implementation of new systems and processes
• Close coordination and collaboration with internal interfaces (national and global)
• Point of contact for technical inquiries
• Support for reception devices of the emergency center (alarm systems & video surveillance)
• Participation in and (partial) responsibility for technical projects related to the emergency center

Requirements

• Completed higher technical education (e.g., electronics, communication technology, information technology) or relevant training for IT or communication technicians
• Solid knowledge in IT applications (installation, configuration, updates)
• Proficient understanding of interaction and error analysis of various systems, applications, and IT components, as well as experience in implementing new systems and applications in a corporate environment
• Specialization in alarm message transmission
• Knowledge of the structure and functioning of alarm and hazard detection systems as well as audiovisual surveillance (CCTV) is an advantage
• Experience in operating and handling alarm control applications is an advantage
• Excellent German skills and good English skills focusing on technical terminology
• Structured and solution-oriented working style
• Pragmatic hands-on mentality with high initiative
