Manager, Disaster Recovery - Remote

Overview

The Manager, Disaster Recovery will engage with a team of highly technical System Engineers, Architects, and Site Reliability Engineers that deploy, manage, and maintain our cloud and data center environments.

In Short

• Develop, coordinate, and implement disaster recovery programs.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential threats to IT systems.
• Lead and direct the team’s strategy to achieve operational targets.
• Establish and communicate organization and team goals.
• Ensure backups of critical data and applications are performed regularly.
• Plan and manage drills and training for staff.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
• Minimum of 2+ years in a managerial capacity.
• Expertise in process development and improvement.
• Experience with DR products, such as Rubrik preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to various audiences.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to be on call 24x7.
