Senior Platform Engineer - Remote

Overview

Second Front Systems (2F) is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Platform Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll spearhead our technical efforts to bring our DevSecOps platform (Game Warden) onto multi-cloud fabrics. Second Front Systems is working to accelerate the transition and adoption of emerging technology into the national security ecosystem, including the Department of Defense. We are seeking professionals who want to operate on the front lines of an exciting and disruptive mission.

In Short

• Architect, improve, implement, and operate our cloud native platform.
• Research and develop our Platform platform onto classified fabrics.
• Build, test, validate, and operate Game Warden in compliance with security standards.
• Work cross-functionally on well-defined topics and areas needing research.
• Understand, provision, and secure cloud-based resources.
• Gain DoD 8570 compliance while working in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Establish benchmarks and prioritize efforts across initiatives.
• Develop and document new solutions independently.

Requirements

• Architect-level experience in cloud-based infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in containerization.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud service providers.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Pulumi in Golang.
• Ability to develop, optimize, and debug code.
• Experience in designing and implementing microservices.
• Ability to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Expertise in DevSecOps principles.
• Top Secret/SCI security clearance preferred.
