Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Financial Analyst position is a contingent pipeline opportunity for U.S. Government defense IT and analytics support roles, focusing on financial performance and compliance with DoD policies.

In Short

• Track program financial performance across Work Orders
• Develop and manage budgets according to DoD processes
• Support the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution process
• Prepare financial forecasts and cost estimates
• Monitor expenditures and reconcile funding streams
• Support funding justifications and financial reports
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations
• Ensure compliance with DoD financial management policies
• Coordinate with program managers for budget execution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field OR 5 years of equivalent experience
• Experience supporting DoD budget execution and financial reporting
• Working knowledge of the PPBE process
• Experience with cost estimation and financial forecasting
• Experience reconciling funding and tracking expenditures
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
