Overview

Search for Common Ground (Search) seeks an experienced Instructional Designer to develop the curriculum and comprehensive training pathway for the Common Ground Leadership Academy, aimed at fostering transformational leaders in response to global challenges.

In Short

• Design and develop a curriculum for the Common Ground Leadership Academy.
• Work with Program leaders and Strategy and Learning Teams.
• Focus on leadership development in conflict transformation.
• Equip leaders with insights and tools for collaborative action.
• Translate wisdom from experienced leaders into effective pedagogy.
• Initially serve leaders from Search's offices in over 35 countries.
• Expand training to external leaders in Phase Two.
• Address the urgent need for transformational leaders.
• Contribute to systemic impact and collective progress.
• Foster a generation of changemakers.

Requirements

• Experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
• Strong understanding of leadership development principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of conflict transformation strategies.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Experience in designing training for adult learners.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into accessible learning materials.
• Commitment to fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments.
• Experience in global or multicultural contexts is a plus.
• Passion for social change and transformational leadership.
