Overview

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role at Scholar Rock involves representing the voice of KOL/HCP input related to product development and conducting clinical presentations to payer organizations, focusing on innovative treatments for serious diseases.

In Short

• Become a medical expert in SMA and apitegromab.
• Build relationships with KOLs and payers.
• Deliver scientific presentations to diverse audiences.
• Support clinical development and investigator recruitment.
• Develop and execute Territory Management Plans.
• Contribute to MSL reports and SOPs.
• Partner with Sales and Market Access teams.
• Provide insights from HCP interactions.
• Co-create MSL training materials.
• Manage investigator-initiated research.

Requirements

• MD, PharmD, or PhD preferred.
• 5+ years of MSL experience in biotech/pharma.
• Experience in neurology or rare diseases preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory and clinical issues.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams.
• Experience in a start-up biopharma is desirable.
• Commitment to ethics and scientific standards.
• Experience with CRM programs is a plus.
