Senior Financial Reporting Analyst - Remote

As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst in a fast-growing fintech company backed by leading Venture Capital firms in Southeast Asia, this role is critical not only for conventional recording and reconciliation processes but also plays a vital role in the analysis and management reporting that will provide valuable insights about the business.

In Short

• Perform journal entries and review of balance sheet and profit and loss as needed
• Collaborate with corporate and strategic finance teams in reporting and analysis
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and quarter-end closing processes
• Work closely with the audit team for annual external audits and tax filings
• Conduct research and financial analysis to identify potential accounting issues
• Maintain accurate financial records, schedules, and ledgers
• Utilize financial data sources effectively for reporting
• Identify and lead process improvement efforts in financial reporting
• Participate in ad hoc projects and perform related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Expert knowledge of finance and accounting principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage fluctuating workloads and tight deadlines
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
