Overview

As an Associate Data Protection Counsel, you’ll be a key part of our growing legal team and play an important role within this crucial function at Satispay Group. You'll take on a variety of tasks that help shape and support our business.

In Short

• Provide expert, strategic guidance on projects and products impacting personal data protection.
• Ensure data processing activities comply with GDPR and other relevant privacy laws.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to embed data protection awareness.
• Ensure thorough data privacy due diligence and risk assessments for third-party vendors.
• Maintain and update detailed records of data processing activities.
• Produce comprehensive reports for senior management on the data protection framework.
• Assist in managing relationships with data protection authorities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data protection roles.
• Degree in law, preferably a qualified lawyer with experience in primary law firms.
• Ability to provide strategic advice and align data protection strategies with business objectives.
• Innovative mindset to integrate data protection best practices into technological processes.
• Excellent communication skills to advise and influence senior management.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
