Senior Information Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Information Security Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a critical defender of our infrastructure, responsible for building, maintaining, and operating the security systems that protect our company.

In Short

• Manage security tools and systems; monitor alerts and triage events.
• Lead technical investigation and containment of security incidents.
• Drive and maintain PCI DSS compliance program.
• Manage the lifecycle of vulnerabilities from discovery to remediation.
• Design and execute tests to validate security controls.
• Coordinate and perform penetration tests to identify weaknesses.
• Define audit logging requirements and conduct regular reviews.
• Identify and assess threats to applications and infrastructure.
• Develop security configuration standards for servers and cloud services.
• Partner with engineering teams for security guidance on system architecture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in information security or cybersecurity.
• Experience with PCI DSS standards and audit processes.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management principles and tools.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, and security monitoring tools.
• Understanding of network security principles and TCP/IP networking.
• Experience securing cloud environments such as AWS and GCP.
• Familiarity with incident response frameworks.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language for automation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
