Senior Information Security Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Establish a security framework standard and develop an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• Create security policies, standards, and processes to meet regulatory compliance such as HIPAA.
• Develop standards and programs needed to comply with HITRUST.
• Assist the Head of Information Security with strategic security projects.
• Support the Sales team with security-related due diligence.
• Collaborate with Legal for security reviews of contracts.
• Plan for security certifications and maintain compliance.
• Monitor and enforce security standards.
• Establish a Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Strategy.
• Create an effective security awareness training program.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an Information Technology/Information Security role.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Great communication skills, particularly in writing and presentations.
• Experience with security certifications like HITRUST, ISO 27001, etc.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical teams.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Experience with risk assessments and security reviews.
• Knowledge of Atlassian Confluence.
