Senior Application Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Application Security Engineer at Sardine, you will be a key security partner for our development teams, embedding security principles directly into the Software Development Lifecycle.

In Short

• Perform security code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests.
• Integrate and manage security tools within CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead threat modeling exercises for new features.
• Triage and validate vulnerabilities discovered through various methods.
• Collaborate with teams to design secure solutions.
• Develop and maintain security standards and documentation.
• Manage security training for developers.
• Develop custom scripts to enhance security testing capabilities.
• Assist in incident response activities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in application security.
• Deep understanding of common application vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with security tools for SAST, DAST, IAST, and SCA.
• Understanding of security principles for cloud environments.
• Experience integrating security into the SDLC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
