Senior AWS DataHub Developer - Remote

Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior AWS DataHub Developer to design and build real-time, event-driven data services on AWS. This role is developer-first (application-side) rather than infrastructure-led. You will architect and deliver Kafka-based streaming pipelines and serverless data applications that ingest, transform, and serve data at scale.

In Short

• Design & Deliver Event-Driven Pipelines using AWS services.
• Develop Kafka consumers/producers for high-throughput streaming.
• Build and optimize TypeScript or Python services/APIs.
• Integrate with AWS Data Services like S3, DynamoDB, Glue.
• Implement quality and reliability strategies in data flows.
• Use Git-based workflows and CI/CD for deployments.
• Define application-layer infrastructure using IaC tools.
• Contribute to Agile collaboration and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Cloud-native, application-side developer experience.
• Experience with AWS serverless technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Understanding of microservices and APIs.
