Resident Construction Engineer - Civil - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Resident Construction Engineer - Civil to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with contract documents, and coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.

In Short

• Perform Construction Administration Services for civil/structural work.
• Review Shop Drawings and other submittals for compliance.
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFI) from contractors.
• Prepare project reports and internal memos.
• Enforce technical contract requirements.
• Lead quality assurance efforts on site.
• Collaborate with Royal Commission staff on site development.
• Provide general direction to contractors during construction.
• Perform conceptual and detailed estimates for project changes.
• Communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Civil/Structural or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 years of field experience in major building projects.
• Basic construction knowledge in Civil/Structural.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Excel.
• Driver's License required.
• Ability to work as a team and respect aesthetic choices.
• Expertise in exterior building systems.
• LEED AP accreditation is a plus.
