Principal Engineer, VLSI Design Engineering - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Digital Physical Design Engineer to work whole digital SPR flow from RTL to GDS, including Synthesis, DFT scan insertion, PNR, STA timing analysis, IR drop power analysis, DRC/LVS verification.

• Work on the entire digital SPR flow from RTL to GDS.
• Conduct synthesis and DFT scan insertion.
• Perform placement and routing analysis.
• Conduct STA timing analysis and fix timing in PNR.
• Verify DRC/LVS/Antenna in PNR and Layout.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.
• Communicate effectively with other functional teams.
• Utilize Cadence and Synopsys tools.
• Analyze and improve clock tree quality.
• Debug routing issues in routeOpt stage.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years in Physical design digital RTL to GDS flow.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in TCL/TK and Perl scripting.
• Familiarity with Cadence and Synopsys digital flow.
• Experience with Calibre physical verification and Redhawk power analysis.
