Press Process Technician - 1st Shift - Remote

Overview

The Press Process Technician is responsible for managing all aspects of the Press Shop processes, including setup, operation, and maintenance of presses and related equipment.

In Short

• Responsible for die changes and press setup parameters.
• Operates and maintains all presses and related equipment.
• Requires crane and forktruck certification.
• Ability to troubleshoot coil feeders and de-stackers.
• Manually operates robots and recovers from faults.
• Knowledge of high rack systems for die management.
• Adjusts oil and air sprayers to minimize scrap.
• Understands Sigma Alpha for data analysis.
• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience levels vary from Machine Operator to Press Process Technician Level 5.

Requirements

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience as a Machine Operator or Press Process Technician.
• Knowledge in metal stamping and quality control.
• Skills in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk regularly.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
