Overview

The Senior Security Operations Engineer will play a vital role in safeguarding Samsara by monitoring and responding to security events, leading incidents, and conducting investigations.

• Monitor security events and provide technical analysis on alerts.

Requirements

• 7+ years in Security Engineering with a focus on Incident Response for 4+ years.
• Proficient in Python for building scripts or tools.
• Experience in security incident response and monitoring.
• Understanding of analysis techniques on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Experience with SIEM tools for log reviews.
• Experience in cloud security (AWS, GCP).
• Comfortable working in PST or EST time zones.
• Ability to communicate findings to technical and executive leadership.
• Mentor security operation engineers.
• Experience with insider threat initiatives is a plus.
