Software Engineer - .NET - Remote

Overview

As a Software Engineer at the Staff level at Sagent, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, testing, debugging, and implementing software solutions. Leveraging your theoretical knowledge base and specific functional expertise gained through formal education and experience, you will work autonomously to achieve project goals. Additionally, you may provide guidance to others as a technical lead, utilizing your technical expertise to mentor junior team members. This role encompasses all aspects of software development, from determining software application design requirements to participating in high-level architecture design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant discipline with 3 - 4 years of experience.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
• Understanding of Dependency Injection.
• Experience with web services (Rest and Web API).
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of source control systems, preferably git.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to generate software engineering policies and standards.
