Safran.AI is a subsidiary of Safran Electronics & Defense that offers AI solutions for analyzing high-resolution satellite images, full motion video streams, and acoustic signals. The company develops complex algorithms and software to automatically analyze, detect, and identify military-relevant objects from commercial or government data.

In Short

• Join the Software Platform team to develop tools and components for product teams.
• Responsible for the technical vision and architecture of the software platform.
• Define and maintain the overall architecture of back-end infrastructure and automated pipelines.
• Collaborate on specifications, testing, and technical best practices.
• Ensure code quality of libraries and frameworks.
• Make informed technical decisions and guide the team in solving complex problems.
• Utilize Python (3.10+) for back-end development.
• Use Docker for deployment on Nomad clusters.
• Work with SQL/PostgreSQL for database management.
• Engage with DevOps technologies like Ansible, Terraform, and Prometheus/Grafana.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of back-end development experience.
• Experience in a technical leadership role.
• Strong skills in Python, Docker, and database management.
• Experience with container orchestration (Nomad or K8S).
• Knowledge of pipeline engineering (e.g., Airflow).
• Understanding of DevOps tools (CI/CD, monitoring, logging).
• Passionate about code quality and automated testing.
• Excellent organizational skills and autonomy.
• Ability to coach and develop colleagues.
• Align technical objectives with business needs.
