Overview

The Project Controller plays a crucial role in managing project costs and ensuring accurate reporting throughout the project lifecycle in a professional services environment.

In Short

Manage day-to-day cost controls for assigned projects.
Develop custom reporting tools for client requirements.
Establish robust standards across project portfolio.
Collaborate with accounting for accurate project cost reporting.
Assist Project Managers in budget and schedule maintenance.
Act as the ERP system subject matter expert (Ajera - Deltek).
Support and train stakeholders on ERP best practices.
Ensure logical structures for cost and performance reporting.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, Accounting, or Finance.
Minimum 5 years of Project Controls experience.
Membership in AACEI is an advantage.
Technical expertise in Excel and SQL.
Previous experience with ERP systems.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Experience in consulting engineering is an asset.
Familiarity with EPC and EPCM contracting strategies in North America.
Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management.
Fluent in English; French is a plus.
