Overview

Spalding, a Saalex Company is seeking a senior IT Project Manager to assist in managing the modernization of legacy apps, offering competitive compensation and excellent benefits.

In Short

  • Lead and manage a software development team for application modernizations deploying to AWS GovCloud.
  • Develop and maintain project plans/schedules in GitLab.
  • Identify, track, mitigate, and resolve schedule and performance risks.
  • Report project progress and risks to leadership.
  • Act as liaison with the customer and technical teams.
  • Facilitate meetings to gather and document requirements.
  • Manage planning meetings, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support EST business hours.

Requirements

  • Experience managing agile development teams.
  • Experience with AWS, preferably GovCloud.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in DoD software development/IT environments.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to identify and manage project risks.
  • Experience using GitLab for project management.
