Overview

We are hiring a Marketing & Communication Lead to join the Rypples team and own how we communicate, working closely with the founders to shape and express our thinking, and build an audience by sharing our journey in public.

In Short

• Own Rypples' communications end-to-end, primarily through LinkedIn.
• Translate execution work into clear, high-signal narratives.
• Run a consistent content cadence sharing insights on scaling ocean-positive companies.
• Develop recurring content formats, potentially including a podcast.
• Work closely with portfolio founders and ecosystem partners.
• Refine tone and formats based on audience resonance.
• Full-time, fully remote role with a global candidate base.
• Potential travel around key ocean and climate events.
• Build the communications function from day one.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in marketing communications.
• Experience in environments like emerging VCs, startups, or climate-focused organizations.
• Strong writing and editing skills for complex ideas.
• Experience shaping narratives in fast-moving settings.
• Experience building and growing an audience (LinkedIn, newsletter, podcast).
• Ability to work autonomously and iterate on ideas.
