Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to join a small, fully remote team that measures and reduces clients’ carbon footprints. This role will be focused largely on data and systems, with approximately 90 percent of the time spent working in Google Sheets.

In Short

• Work extensively in Google Sheets to maintain and enhance existing systems.
• Clean, restructure, and standardise client-provided data.
• Translate messy client spreadsheets into usable formats.
• Support team members by updating client spreadsheets.
• Assist in improving formulas and logic for carbon footprint outputs.
• Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Reduce manual work by proposing smarter data processes.
• Ensure quality control by spotting errors in data.
• Work with data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with the team on data-related tasks.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data analysis or similar roles.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets; Excel experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of advanced spreadsheet functions.
• Strong mathematics and logical problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and patience for complex tasks.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
