Overview

The Senior Application Engineer, Motion Instructor at Rockwell Automation will develop and deliver technical training on Motion products, focusing on enhancing the skills of engineers and distributor partners.

• Develop and deliver technical training on Rockwell Automation Motion products.
• Educate Rockwell Automation engineers and distributor partners.
• Create training materials for various learning formats.
• Work closely with RAU Delivery Leaders and Project Managers.
• Conduct training in classroom or virtual settings.
• Identify training needs and prepare staff for training events.
• Manage the Mayfield Heights Motion lab and equipment storage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, or relevant experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
• 5+ years' experience with Rockwell Automation motion products preferred.
• Experience with Kinetix, iTrak, and MagneMotion.
• Ability to travel occasionally.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to balance competing priorities.
• Experience in training and mentoring others.
• Subject Matter Expert in Motion applications.
• Ability to develop concise learning goals.
