Overview

As a Senior Automation Engineer at Octopus by RTG, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, ensuring the creation of scalable, secure, and reliable automated tests and frameworks.

In Short

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for SAP, web, and mobile applications.
• Develop scalable, secure, and reliable automated tests and frameworks.
• Collaborate with Senior Developers, Product Managers, SCRUM Masters, and Architects.
• Design and develop Integration tests and contribute to E2E test suites.
• Integrate Automated Tests in CI/CD Toolchains like Azure Pipelines.
• Manage risks associated with testing and suggest corrective actions.
• Adopt testing methods using predictive or adaptive approaches.
• Maintain test automation tools to improve software quality.
• Improve productivity through automation and best practices.
• Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Experience in automation testing for SAP, web, and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools, especially Azure Pipelines.
• Experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in risk management related to testing processes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in using test automation tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience mentoring team members is a plus.
