Overview

The After-hours Logistics Specialist will be responsible for providing streamlined business continuity and operational support for the Carrier Team to deliver an exceptionally positive end-to-end experience.

In Short

Ensure shipment details are accurately communicated and tracked.
Submit competitive quotes and bids for shipments.
Partner with internal teams to align carrier capacity with customer demands.
Provide visibility to management and customers by tracking and troubleshooting operational issues.
Source quality carrier coverage for open loads.
Establish and cultivate transportation relationships.
Utilize internal and external customer TMS and related technology tools.
Stay up to date on the industry and market conditions.
Perform additional duties to support logistics operations.

Requirements

Local candidates only - headquarters in Southfield, Michigan.
Hybrid Schedule: Remote weekends / Office Weekdays.
