Budget Controller - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Budget Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial management and controlling background, with a passion for operational accuracy and strategic insight.

In Short

• Oversee and ensure compliance with company budgets and financial plans.
• Review and approve expense requests and manage their submission into 1C.
• Control financial transactions and ensure correct expense allocation.
• Monitor payment processes and coordinate approval workflows.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding payments and budget-related matters.
• Participate in the budgeting process, including updates and forecasting.
• Consolidate financial data and manage large datasets for analysis and reporting.
• Perform ad hoc financial control and analysis tasks as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a finance-related role, ideally in a controlling or financial analysis position.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with 1C and task management tools such as Asana or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of managerial accounting principles.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes and cost allocation methodologies.
• Intermediate level of English or higher (both written and spoken).
• Native Ukrainian is required.
