Microsoft Azure Systems Engineer - Remote

Overview

This role is focused on building, configuring, and troubleshooting Azure infrastructure, requiring hands-on experience in architecting and operating production Azure environments.

In Short

• Design and implement scalable Azure infrastructure.
• Manage Azure Virtual Networks and hybrid connectivity.
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Deploy and configure Windows workloads in Azure.
• Build infrastructure using Terraform and Azure CLI.
• Ensure deployments are idempotent and repeatable.
• Implement Azure Security Center controls.
• Own backup and recovery strategies.
• Participate in incident response and remediation.
• Document architecture and operational runbooks.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance.
• 5+ years of systems engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure networking.
• Implementation experience with Azure AD.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Strong PowerShell scripting ability.
• Experience as a primary engineer for production Azure workloads.
