Overview

The Senior Information Security Engineer plays a key role in safeguarding the company’s cloud-based healthcare SaaS platforms, infrastructure, and customer data.

In Short

• Design and maintain secure architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Implement guardrails and controls using AWS services.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and configuration reviews.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage EDR/XDR solutions and identity security controls.
• Monitor alerts and investigate incidents with the SOC.
• Support audits for HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2 compliance.
• Maintain asset inventories and risk registers.
• Contribute to security awareness and training initiatives.
• 5+ years of experience in security engineering required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Security.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native security (AWS, Azure).
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2 requirements.
• Experience securing containerized workloads.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM preferred.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible for infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Excellent communication skills.
