2025 Summer Policy/Research Intern - Remote

Overview

The 2025 Summer Policy/Research Intern will support the Local Practice Team at Results for America, engaging in programmatic and policy work to help local governments leverage evidence-based approaches.

In Short

• Internship duration: approximately 10 weeks from June 2 to August 15, 2025.
• Work virtually using personal internet/computer.
• Support program administration and impact tracking.
• Conduct local government research and synthesis.
• Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Strong work ethic and professionalism expected.
• Compensation based on education and experience: $27-$32/hour.
• Report to the Senior Manager, Local Practice.
• Commitment to Results for America’s mission is necessary.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Proficient computer skills, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and professionalism.
• Commitment to Results for America’s mission and values.
• Preferred: Strong qualitative research and synthesis skills.
• Preferred: Interest or past experience in local government.
