Senior Automation Engineer (SDET) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer (SDET) who will be responsible for both functional and automation testing, focusing on delivering high-quality software solutions.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Conduct both manual and automated testing to validate business-critical functionalities.
• Automate and execute end-to-end, UI, API, and regression testing.
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines for seamless execution.
• Ensure applications work seamlessly across different browsers, devices, and operating systems.
• Implement robust test data management strategies.
• Generate detailed test reports using various reporting tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive quality initiatives.
• Good experience in test automation and functional testing.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience in testing single-page applications (SPAs) and dynamic web apps.
• Hands-on experience with Mocha, Jest, or other test frameworks.
• Expertise in Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of API testing (Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API).
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber (Optional but Preferred).
