Operator - Civil/Electrical - Remote

Overview

The Craft – Operator, Finish, Civil is responsible for safely and efficiently performing Civil/Electrical duties at the project site.

In Short

• Follows OSHA safety and operating procedures of heavy and light equipment.
• Operates light/heavy equipment including backhoe, loader, roller, and rock truck.
• Inspects incoming and outgoing loads and performs pre-inspection checks.
• Maintains job site and materials in an organized and efficient order.
• Performs preventive maintenance on all mobile and stationary equipment.
• Climbs into heavy equipment using attached ladders.
• Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Ensures safety is the most important function and follows safe practices.
• Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
• Ability to travel domestically 76-100% required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• CCO certification for crane operators required.
• CDL certification for A/T cranes preferred.
• 0-2 years’ experience with backhoe, loader, roller, and rock truck required.
• 0-3 years’ experience with blade, excavator, and dozer for higher levels.
• 4+ years’ experience with 250 ton crane/crawler required for advanced levels.
• Intermediate knowledge in safety training and industry standards.
• Functional competencies include attention to detail, communication, and ethics.
